Zdenka Vučković, born June 20, 1942, was a Croatian pop singer from Zagreb who gained prominence in the 1960s. She became widely known for songs such as “Moja mala djevojčica” and “Zagreb, Zagreb,” the latter of which became closely associated with her hometown. Her distinctive voice is also recognized through songs like “Zeko i potočić.” Vučković announced her retirement from the festival scene with “Odrasla je djevojčica mala” at the 1989 Zagreb Festival, but she later appeared in performances such as a 1991 duet of “To Love Somebody” with Severina and “Veslaj” with Luka Nižetić at the 2010 Split Festival. She was married to composer Krešimir Oblak from 1971 until her death on March 7, 2020.
