The Experimental Tropic Blues Band, a Belgian rock group from Liège, formed in 1999. The band's debut album Hellelujah followed in 2007. In 2009, they released their second album Captain Boogie, and in 2011, Liquid Love. The latter was produced and mixed by Jon Spencer of JSBX and Heavy Trash, and recorded at the NY HED studio in New York. The Experimental Tropic Blues Band performed with notable acts such as the Cramps, Bob Log III, and the Black Lips, and played at festivals including Eurosonic Festival (NL), Europavox (FR), and SXSW (USA). They received the Pop/rock octave in 2012 at the Octaves de la Musique Awards.
