Def Dames Dope were a Belgian pop and Eurodance group formed in 1992 by sisters Larissa and Axana Ceulemans. Produced by Phil Wilde and Jean-Paul De Coster, they achieved professional recognition in 1993 when the single “Ain't Nothing To It” (1993) reached Number 1 on the Belgian charts for two weeks. They released their debut studio album, It's a Girl (1993), and the hit single “Havin' a Good Time” (1993). Following Larissa's departure, the lineup included Ingrid Gerits and Edith Verlinden, with Yousra Lemaire later joining them. They achieved international success, appearing on charts in the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and Israel, and performed as an opening act for La Toya Jackson in South Africa. Their subsequent recordings include the studio album Wicked & Wild (1995) and the single “Join the Party” (1996). After disbanding in 1996, the group resumed activity in 2002 to release the single “Beep Beep” (2002). They participated in the charity project Artiesten voor Azië for the single “Als je iets kan doen” (2005) and performed a farewell tour in 2019.
