Aili Ikonen, born May 20, 1982, is a Finnish jazz singer, composer, and lyricist. She started playing the violin at five and later focused on jazz and singing. In 1999, she joined the Korpi Ensemble and graduated from Jyväskylä Finnish Conservatory in 2004. Ikonen's breakthrough came in 2004 when she won the Scandinavian Young Nordic Jazz Comets competition with the group Kvalda. She has collaborated with various orchestras, including UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra and Sinfonia Lahti. Her debut album Tribute to Ella was released in 2013, followed by Laulan (2016), Piirrä minut (2017), Laulu keskeneräinen (2019), and Suru ei oo suora viiva (2020). Ikonen also contributed to the musical Kristina från Duvemåla in 2012-2013.
