Drahdiwaberl is an Austrian rock ensemble formed in 1969 in Vienna by Stefan Weber. The group was influenced by the Wiener Aktionismus movement and performed interpretations of songs by Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones. In 1981, the ensemble released the studio album Psychoterror, which reached the top ten on the Austrian charts. The band collaborated with the artist Falco between 1978 and 1983. Its discography included the studio recordings Mc Ronalds Massaker (1982), Werwolfromantik (1983), Jeannys Rache (1986), and Sperminator (1994). The ensemble recorded the single “Lonely” with Lukas Resetarits and “Die Galeere” with Falco. The group utilized provocative elements in its live performances. The band became inactive in 2013. Stefan Weber died on June 7, 2018. Posthumous chart appearances included the recordings Reif für den Pepi – Das letzte Konzert (2023) and Wer hat hier Pfui geschrien? (2024).
