Jean-Christophe Robert shot to fame at the age of 52 with the album Le Hautbois du Pasteur Robert, released in 2012. The oboist, a Conservatoire First Prize winner and student of Làszlo Hadady, officiates in ministries by day and performs in concert by night, in France and the United States. After a few confidential albums, he seized the opportunity of a contract with a major label to record pieces by J. S. Bach, Handel, Haydn, Schubert or...Michel Colombier and Ennio Morricone.
