Mirage, a Russian pop group founded in Moscow in 1986 by Andrey Litjagin, debuted with vocalists Marina Gulkina and Irina Suhankina. Their first album Звёзды нас ждут (The Stars Await Us) was released in 1987, featuring a Euro disco sound. Gulkina left in 1988 due to disagreements, and Suhankina became the sole vocalist for Снова вместе (Together Again). The group toured extensively using pre-recorded vocals. In 1991, Ekaterina Boldysheva joined as the first live vocalist. Despite economic challenges, Mirage continued releasing albums, including Не в первый раз (Not For The First Time) in 2008 and Отпусти меня! (Let Me Go!) in 2013 featuring Suhankina on vocals. Their lineup also includes Ekaterina Boldysheva (vocals), Alexei Gorbashov (guitar), Andrey Grishin (drums), and Sergey Krylov (keyboard instruments).
