Françoise Pollet, born on September 10, 1949, in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, is a French soprano opera singer. She studied violin at the Conservatoire de Versailles and vocal training under Ernst Haefliger. Pollet made her operatic debut in 1983 as the Marschallin in Richard Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier at the Opernhaus Lübeck, after winning the Concours international de chant de Genève. Her repertoire ranged from Berlioz to Boulez, and she collaborated with notable conductors such as Pierre Boulez and Charles Dutoit. In 1994, she received the Victoire de la Musique Classique for Artist Lyrique de l'Année. Pollet has also taught at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon since 2002.
