Sebastião de Barros, known professionally as K-Ximbinho, was a Brazilian composer, arranger, clarinetist, saxophonist, and conductor. He began his musical career performing with local groups, including the Pan Jazz band, and developed an early interest in both traditional Brazilian music and jazz. In 1938, he joined the renowned Orquestra Tabajara, where he played until 1942. During this time, he moved to Rio de Janeiro and established himself as a clarinetist, composer, and arranger for prominent Brazilian musicians, also working extensively in television until the 1960s. He passed away on June 26, 1980, in Rio de Janeiro.
