Ramiyah, a gospel group originating from Detroit, Michigan, was formed in 2003 and consisted of Stephanie Bonner, Tracy Bryant, DeLaurian Burton, and Sherise Staten. The quartet was brought together by the PAJAM production team. Ramiyah's debut album, Ramiyah, was released through Columbia Records in 2003, featuring the singles "Waiting" and "Turn It Out". "Waiting" performed well on gospel charts, though "Turn It Out" did not achieve similar success. The album peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Gospel charts in 2004. Ramiyah notably appeared in shows such as The Stellar Awards, Showtime at the Apollo, and the Trumpet Awards. In 2005, the group disbanded to pursue solo endeavors. In 2007, Music World Entertainment re-released their debut album under the title Hits Revealed: Ramiyah.
