Alena Apina (born Elena Evgenyevna Levochkina on August 23, 1964) is a Russian pop, disco, and chanson singer, actress, and songwriter from Saratov. Apina began piano studies at age five and later graduated from the Folk Song Faculty at the Saratov State Conservatory. From 1988 to 1991, Apina performed as the lead singer of the group Kombinaciya, recording the tracks “Russian Girls” and “American Boy”. Apina began a solo career in 1991, releasing the debut album Street of Love (1992). The 1993 album Dance Until the Morning featured eight popular tracks. In 1994, Apina produced the musical pop-novel Limit. Apina received the Ovation award for Best Singer of the Year in 1998 and was named Honored Artist of the Russian Federation in 2002. Apina hosted the television program Polevaya Pochta in 1999 and appeared in the 2024 television series Kombinaciya.
