Fadil Fazlija, born on July 15, 1972 in Bihać, SFR Yugoslavia, is a Bosnian singer of Romani descent. He adopted the stage name "Fazlija" at age 15, which means "master" in German. Fazlija's music, primarily in the turbo-folk genre, included songs in Bosnian, Romani, and Albanian languages. His first album Prosjak i kraljica was released in 1997. He gained international recognition with his single "Helikopter" (2016), which became a viral hit after its release on social media in 2021. The song has garnered over one billion views and has been featured by celebrities such as the Kardashian clan and Britney Spears, among others. Other notable releases include Boginja (1998), Stani srećo (1999) and Flasu Dzeka (2015). He has performed extensively across Europe, including in the former Yugoslavia, Austria, Germany, Bulgaria, Switzerland, and Turkey.
