Monobrother, born in Austria and raised in Vienna-Leopoldstadt and Wieselburg, is an Austrian hip-hop musician. His early career began with the release of Haschgiftspritzer in 2009. Monobrother gained significant attention when he was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the HipHop/R&B category in 2014, but notably declined the nomination alongside other artists through a public statement on social media. Following his debut album, Monobrother released Unguru in 2012 and Solodarität in 2019, both under Honigdachs Records. His fourth album Mir geht's um die Menschen, was released in 2023.
