Weena Morloch is an electronic music project founded by Alexander Kaschte on March 1, 1978, in Germany. Initially starting as a noise project under the name McBeth, Weena Morloch released its first demo Dandelion and His Lady of Sorrow in 1997. The project gained wider recognition with the release of Kunst-X=?, an album that blended synthesizer sounds with samples from horror films and introduced what Kaschte described as a "Horror Death Industrial" sound. Following this, Weena Morloch released several albums, including Kadaverkomplex (2002). The project gained media attention after the Emsdetten school shooting, when it was reported that the perpetrator had quoted lyrics from the song "Kugel Im Gesicht (9mm)." Weena Morloch later released the album Grüß Gott, Wir Sind Die Morlochs in 2015.
