Down to Nothing, a straight edge hardcore punk band from Richmond, Virginia, was formed in 2000. The group's early releases included the Save It for the Birds album in 2003 and the Higher Learning EP in 2006. Their breakthrough came with the release of The Most album in 2007. In 2008, Down to Nothing re-released their first two albums as a compilation titled Unbreakable. David Wood, the band's vocalist, joined Terror as bassist and backing vocals in 2009. The band released All My Sons EP in 2010 and their studio album, Life on the James, in 2013 on Revelation Records. Down to Nothing performed at the Have Heart reunion shows at the Worcester Palladium in 2019 but became inactive shortly after.
