Toulouse, a Quebec singers group formed in 1975, consisted of Judi Richards and sisters Heather Gauthier and Mary Lou Gauthier. The trio initially released their self-titled debut album, Toulouse, in 1976. In 1978, they achieved significant success with the album Taxi pour une nuit blanche, winning the first Félix Award at the ADISQ gala. The group continued to release albums such as Dangerous Ladies in 1980. They also hosted the monthly TVA show Toulouse Extra in 1980. She released Trois dimensions in 1981. Toulouse disbanded in 1985 after participating in the Fondation Québec-Afrique project, Les Yeux de la faim. In 2007, following an invitation from Georges Thurston, the group reformed and released "Ensemble", a tribute to Thurston, who had passed away that same year. The song's proceeds were donated to the Association canadienne du cancer colorectal.
