sessiOnroad, a Filipino alternative rock band from the Philippines, was formed in 1998, consisting of Hannah Romawac-Olives on vocals and rhythm guitar, Coy Placido on lead guitar and synth, Chavi Romawac on drums and percussions, JV Romawac on percussion and backup vocals, and Jimbo San Pedro on bass. The band released their debut album, Session Road, in 1999. Their breakthrough came with the release of their second album Suntok Sa Buwan in 2004, which featured the hit single "Suntok sa Buwan" that topped charts for two weeks in Manila and was nominated for Song of the Year in 2004. The band's third album Bakit Hindi? released in 2006 included the award-winning music video for "Blanko", which won the Awit Award for Best Music Video in 2007.
