Andreas Öberg, born on August 6, 1978, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a guitarist, songwriter, and music producer who began playing classical guitar at age seven. By twelve, he switched to electric guitar under the influence of a teacher specializing in blues and jazz fusion. Öberg studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and launched his professional career at eighteen, collaborating with Viktoria Tolstoy and Svante Thuresson. Between 2003 and 2006, he recorded six albums for Hot Club Records, including Andreas Öberg Invites Yorgui Loeffler & Ritary Gaguenetti (2004) and Young Jazz Guitarist (2005). In 2006, he signed with Resonance Records. He co-wrote "Romance" on Shinee's album Odd, which topped the Korean Gaon album chart in the Number 1 position for two consecutive weeks in 2015, and contributed to Namie Amuro’s single "Mint" (2016), certified Platinum in Japan. Öberg won the Hagström Guitar Award and the Gevalia Music Prize in 2004.
