Zoran Dukić, born in 1969 in Zagreb, Croatia, is a classical guitarist who began playing at six. He is also a founding member of the Trio de Cologne and the European Guitar Quartet. He studied under Darko Petrinjak at the Music Academy in Zagreb and Hubert Käppel in Köln. Early in his career, Dukić won multiple competitions including the Guerrero International Guitar Competition (1992) and both Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competitions (1991 and 1996). His repertoire ranged from Bach to Britten, performing in over 30 countries at venues like the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Teatre de la Monnaie in Brussels. Notable recordings include 24 Caprichos de Goya (2008) and Balkan Muses (2014). Dukić has collaborated with orchestras worldwide and taught at institutions including the Musikakademie in Zagreb and the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag.
