Andrew von Oeyen, born on November 12, 1979, in Los Angeles, California, is an American classical pianist. He began piano lessons at age five and made his solo orchestral debut at age ten. At sixteen, he performed with Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Von Oeyen studied at the Juilliard School and Columbia University, winning the Gilmore Young Artist Award in 1999. He performed extensively worldwide with orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Berlin Symphony Orchestra. Notable performances included a 2009 live broadcast on PBS with the National Symphony Orchestra. He signed with Warner Classics in 2016, releasing albums including Saint-Saëns, Ravel, Gershwin: Piano Concertos (2017) and Bach – Beethoven (2021). The first single from Bach – Beethoven (2021) reached Number 1 on Apple Music's A-List.
