Megan Henwood is an English singer-songwriter. She began her musical journey with a public performance at age nine at the Henley Youth Festival. Henwood's career gained momentum when she won the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award in 2009 alongside her saxophonist brother Joe. Her debut album, Making Waves, was released on July 4, 2011. She followed this with Head Heart Hand in July 2015 and River in the autumn of 2017. Henwood has collaborated with artists such as Brother Strut and Jackie Oates and has been commissioned as a songwriter by Arts Council England and Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
