Findlay Napier, born November 1978 in Glasgow, Scotland, is a British singer-songwriter and music teacher. He graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 1999 and began his career as an accompanist for Margaret Bennett on her album In the Sunny Long Ago (2001). In 2000, Napier joined the Scottish folk group Back of the Moon, recording Gillian Frame and Back of the Moon (2001), Luminosity (2005), and Fortune's Road (2007) before the band disbanded in 2007. He collaborated with Boo Hewerdine on his solo album VIP: Very Interesting Persons (2015), which reached number 2 on The Daily Telegraph’s top folk albums chart in 2015. Napier has also worked as a lecturer at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
