Mic Donet, born Michael Schuppach in Munich in 1979, is a German soul singer and songwriter who lives in Berlin. His musical career began in the late 1990s as a breakdancer in the Munich crew Step 2 Diz. His vocal talent was discovered there, which led to his first solo contract in 2001. In 2004, Mic Donet released his debut album Stille Wasser, which received only limited attention. His breakthrough came in 2011 when he took part in the first season of The Voice of Germany, where he wowed the audience with his distinctive soul voice. He then released the album Plenty of Love in 2012, which remained in the German Top 10 for over 20 weeks. the album Rise and Shine followed in 2015, on which Mic Donet presented his musical development. the album Analog was released in 2018, followed by the single "Panzerglas" in 2021.
