Roger Alan Wade, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is an American singer-songwriter. Wade's career began with songwriting credits for notable artists such as Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. He notably co-wrote the hit song "Country State of Mind" (1986) with Hank Williams Jr. His solo career took off with the promotional assistance of his cousin, actor Johnny Knoxville, who featured Wade's music on his TV show Jackass and subsequent movies. Wade's debut album, All Likkered Up, was released in 2005. Wade's music often satirized redneck and honky-tonk culture, and he has been featured on various TV shows including Wildboyz and The Howard Stern Show. His songs have appeared in multiple films from the Jackass series, and he co-hosted a weekly show with Knoxville on Sirius XM's Outlaw Country channel.
