Smut Peddlers is an American punk rock group from Redondo Beach, California, formed in 1993. The band consists of John Ransom, Prospect, Gish, and Julia Smut. Their debut album, Failure (1995), was followed by the albums Freedom (1997) and Tarball 2000 (1999). Their recordings include the album ISM (2001) and the compilation The Two Old Ones (2001). Smut Peddlers performed a European tour in 2002 and released the album Coming Out (2004). Their discography includes the live album That's Amore: Live at DiPiazza's (2006) and the studio album Going In (2014). Their music appeared in the films Jackass: The Movie (2002), Jackass: Number Two (2006), and Jackass 3D (2010). They released the recordings “Live at the Hermosa Saloon” (1998), “Silicon & STP” (1999), and “Bipolar Girl” (2000).
