Electronicat is the alter ego of French musician and performer Fred Bigot. His early career involved collaborations with Kasper T. Toeplitz on the project "Sleaze Art" and visual artist Cecile Babiole on an audio/visual show called "Hot Spectrum". Electronicat's solo work began around 2000, with his debut album Cat a tac released under the Oni.Tor label. He combined samples of his own voice with guitars, analogue synthesizers, and drum machine loops to create a psychedelic electro sound. Throughout his career, Electronicat released several albums, including Voodoo Man (2005) and Chez Toi (2007), and collaborated with internationally renowned electronic music producers such as Gerhard Potuznik and Patrick Pulsinger. He also remixed numerous underground and mainstream musicians, including Depeche Mode. Electronicat's work was released on various labels from Disko B to UpperCuts, and he maintained activity in the experimental music circuit.
