Les Très Bien Ensemble, a Spanish pop music group from Barcelona, Catalonia, formed in 1997. The band's style blended pop, folk, and yé-yé influences from the 1960s, with lyrics entirely in French. Their name is inspired by "Michelle", a Beatles song featuring French lyrics: "Michelle, ma belle, sont des mots qui vont très bien ensemble." Les Très Bien Ensemble released their first EP in July 1997, which included "La Fille la plus douce du monde" chosen as one of the best songs of 1999 by Radio 3 listeners. Their subsequent EP, Chanson d'amour, was released in 2001 and featured a cover of Brigitte Bardot. The group's debut album, Doux-Amer, followed in 2005, with "À Hélène" used in El Corte Inglés' Blancolor campaign. Their second and final album, Rougeole, was released in September 2008, reflecting influences from artists like Johnny Cash and The Byrds. Les Très Bien Ensemble disbanded in 2010.
