Cicatriz were a Spanish punk rock and hard rock band from Vitoria formed in 1983. The ensemble was founded by Natxo Etxebarrieta and Marieli Arroniz, known as “la Poti”, initially performing under the name Cicatriz en la Matriz. They achieved professional recognition for the compilation Disco de los cuatro (1985), which featured the tracks “Escupe”, “Cuidado burócratas”, and “Enemigo público”. Their recording career includes the debut studio recording Inadaptados (1986), produced by Josu Zabala. Following the departure of Pepín (José Arteaga) in 1987, Goar Iñurrieta joined on guitar. Their discography includes the studio recordings 4 años, 2 meses y 1 día (1991) and Colgado por ti (1992). The ensemble became inactive in 1996 following the deaths of original members Etxebarrieta, Pakito Rodrigo, and Pedro Landatxe.
