Piperrak, a Spanish punk rock group from La Ribera (La Rioja-Navarra), was formed in May 1990 and initially consisted of Txitxarro on bass and vocals, Josetxu on lead vocals, Rufo on drums, and Fermín on guitar. They released two demo tapes, Ahorkate (1990) and La Ribera Rock&Roll (1992), before signing with Discos Suicidas for their debut album, Arde Ribera, in 1994, which featured notable tracks such as "Kualkier día" and "Mi primer amor". In 1996, they released their second studio album, Los muertos de siempre. A change in guitarists occurred in 1997 when Fermín left and was replaced by Javi. Piperrak disbanded in November 1998 but reunited in January 2007 for a series of concerts, culminating in the release of a live album titled La Kemos Liau in 2009. The band's final lineup included Josetxu, Txitxarro, Rufo, and Jabitxo.
