Șuie Paparude is a Romanian electronic music group formed in 1992 by Mihai Campineanu, Mihai Dobre, and three other musicians. They initially started as a new wave group. In 1995, they released their first album, Șuie Paparude, which featured DJ Vasile. Two years later, DJ Vasile left to pursue a solo career, and they released their second album, Salvează-te (1997). Their breakthrough came with the song "Iarba Verde de Acasă" (1998), followed by the Musca EP that same year. In 2006, they performed at the Lia-Manoliu Stadium as an opening act for Depeche Mode during their Touring the Angel tour. They released notable albums such as Urban (2000), Atac la persoane (2003), and Scandalos (2004). Their subsequent albums include A fost odată... (2008), E suflet în aparat (2010), and Noul Album (2018).
