Wevie Stonder, a British music group formed in Brighton in 1993, initially gained attention with their failed cover of Stevie Wonder's "I Just Called to Say I Love You", which led to the band's name. Their debut album Eat Your Own Ears was released in 2000 on Skam Records, marking the start of a series of records and live performances across the UK and Europe. Notable releases include Drawing on Other People's Heads (2001), Kenyan Harry EP (2003), The Wooden Horse of Troy (2005), and The Bucket (2009). The band also released singles such as "Stoat" (2002) and "Small People / Shut the Gate" (2009). Wevie Stonder performed at notable festivals like Sonar in Barcelona. After a hiatus, they released the album Sure Beats Living on July 25th, 2025.
