Valentin Răduțiu, born in 1986 in Munich, Germany, is a German cellist of Romanian descent. He began his musical journey under the tutelage of his father, Emil Răduțiu. Valentin Răduțiu studied at institutions in Salzburg, Vienna, and Berlin, learning from notable figures such as Clemens Hagen, Heinrich Schiff, and David Geringas. He won the 1st Prize at the International Karl Davidov Competition in Riga (2008) and the 2nd prize at the International Enescu Competition in Bucharest in 2012. He has collaborated extensively with orchestras like the German Symphony Orchestra and the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra. His discography includes recordings such as Remembering the Rain - A Jazz View (2015) and Joseph Haydn: Concerto for Cello and Strings No. 1 in C major (2016). Răduțiu has performed at venues like the Berlin Philharmonie and Hong Kong City Hall.
