Junipher Greene was a Norwegian progressive rock band formed in 1966 by Geir Bøhren, Øyvind Vilbo, Bent Åserud, and Bjørn Sønstevold. The group released their debut album, Friendship, in 1971, marking their entry into the progressive rock scene. Two years later, they followed up with Communication, further establishing their sound and gaining a following within the genre. In 1982, after releasing a compilation that included previously unreleased material, the band put out Forbudte formiddagstone. Junipher Greene disbanded in 1983.
