myGRAIN is a Finnish melodic death metal band from Helsinki formed in 2004. The founding lineup included vocalist Tommy Tuovinen, rhythm guitarist Resistor, bassist Jonas Kuhlberg, and lead guitarist Matthew. Following the success of their second demo, The Red Frame, the group signed with Spinefarm Records. They released their debut album, Orbit Dance, in April 2006, followed by Signs of Existence in February 2008. The band's self-titled third album, myGRAIN, was released in January 2011, and Planetary Breathing followed in September 2013. After announcing their disbandment in May 2015, the group resumed activity in October 2018 with the release of the song “Lightless”. They subsequently released the EP III in November 2018 and the studio album V in 2020. Since the reunion, the band has remained active with a lineup that includes guitarist Joni Lahdenkauppi and drummer Janne Manninen.
