HateSphere is a Danish thrash metal band formed in 2000 in Aarhus. The group gained recognition across Europe with its first three albums, HateSphere (2001), Bloodred Hatred (2002), and Ballet of the Brute (2004). Signed to Scarlet Records, HateSphere toured Europe with The Haunted in 2003 and with Exodus in 2004, while also performing at festivals including Wacken Open Air, With Full Force, and Hellfest. The band also became the first Danish act to tour China. Their 2007 album Serpent Smiles and Killer Eyes reached number 26 on the Danish charts, after which vocalist Jacob Bredahl departed and a new lineup was formed. Throughout their career, HateSphere has received five Danish Metal Awards, one Danish Music Award, and one GAFFA Award.
