Anna Gourari is a Russian classical music pianist who has earned an international reputation for performing and recording works by composers such as Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin and Strauss. Born into a musical family, she began study as a child and went on to win significant music prizes. Based in Munich, Germany, she performs with major conductors and orchestras around the world. She works in television and had an acting role in Werner Hezog's 2001 feature film 'Invincible'. Her recordings include Chopin's 'Piano Sonata No. 3, Mazurkas' (1998), Richard Strauss's 'Piano Concertos for the Left Hand' (2001), Brahms's 'The Late Piano Pieces' (2009), 'Visions Fugitives' (2014) and 'Elusive Affinity' (2019). Her 2019 schedule included performances at venues in Munich, Venice and New York.
