The Physics House Band, a group formed in Brighton, UK, in 2012, initially comprised multi-instrumentalists Sam Organ and Adam Znaidi along with drummer Dave Morgan. The band gained early traction through their video for "Titan" on a video streaming platform. Their debut EP Horizons/Rapture was released in 2013, followed by the album Mercury Fountain in 2017, which drew comparisons to a "cataclysmic, cyclical odyssey" and referenced an Alexander Calder sculpture of the same name. In 2018, saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist Miles Spilsbury joined the group. Their subsequent full-length studio album Metropolis was released in 2020, followed by Incident on 3rd in 2021. In March 2021, it was announced that Adam Znaidi had left the band. The band has toured with notable acts such as Alt-J and Jaga Jazzist.
