Ummu Syaikhah Stacy binti Anam, known professionally as Stacy, was born on August 18, 1990, in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. She began her musical journey by participating in local singing competitions and reality shows such as One in a Million and Gang Starz. Stacy's breakthrough came when she won the sixth season of Akademi Fantasia, receiving 43% of over 3.8 million votes. Her debut single, "Aku Stacy," was released immediately after her win and joined multiple charts, including Carta Era for two weeks. Following this success, Stacy released her debut album, Aku Stacy, on March 9, 2009, which featured collaborations with notable local composers such as Ajai and Audi Mok.
