Project-X is a hardcore punk band from New York City. The group consisted of members from other prominent NYC hardcore bands, including Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today, Side by Side, and Judge. Their debut release was the five-track EP Straight Edge Revenge, which had an initial pressing of 500 copies and sold out at a gig in Connecticut. The record went out of print for 18 years before being re-released in 2005 on Bridge Nine Records. Project-X played few shows, estimated as low as five, including performances at Irving Plaza and during Youth of Today's European tour in 1989.
