Patricia Vonne, born on December 19, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas, is an American singer and actress. She moved to New York City from 1990 to 2001 to pursue her artistic ambitions, forming a band that performed locally. Vonne's music career began with the release of her debut album, Patricia Vonne, in 2003. Her subsequent albums include Guitars & Castanets (2005), Firebird (2007), and Worth It (2010). In 2020, she collaborated with Tish Hinojosa and Stephanie Urbina Jones on the album The Texicana Mamas. Her eighth studio album, My Favorite Holiday, was released in 2021 under her own label Bandolera Records. Vonne has toured extensively across the U.S., Mexico, Europe, and Japan, performing at venues such as the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. She also appeared in films including Desperado, Spy Kids, and Sin City.
