László Fogarasi Jr., known professionally as Yonderboi, was born on September 14, 1980, in Hungary. He began his music career during high school, releasing "Pink Solidism" in 1998. His debut album, Shallow And Profound (2000), brought Eastern European music to the Western electronic scene and featured the notable track "Pabadam", which reached position 9 on BBC Radio 1's Worldwide Winners 2000. Yonderboi performed at festivals including Sziget and Lowlands in 2000, supported by his temporary band Yonderboi Quintet. His second album Splendid Isolation (2005) showcased a different sound with tracks like "Were You Thinking Of Me?". He collaborated with Peter Greenaway for an audio-visual show during the Berlin Film Festival in 2009 and has composed music for various films, theater pieces, and art exhibitions. His third album Passive Control (2011) featured collaborations with Charlotte Brandi, whom he earlier discovered on Myspace.
