Francesco Salvi, born 7 February 1953 in Luino, is an Italian actor, singer, and writer. After studying architecture, he gained recognition as a member of the variety show Drive In (1985–1987). Salvi established a reputation with the 1988 song "C'è da spostare una macchina", the theme for his television program MegaSalviShow, which reached Number 1 on the Italian charts. His recording career included the debut album Megasalvi (1989) and the Sanremo Music Festival entry "Esatto!". In 1991, he starred in the television films L'Odissea and I Tre Moschettieri. Salvi’s discography included the albums Limitiamo i danni (1990) and In gita col Salvi (1992). He transitioned into dramatic film roles in 2001 with The Comeback, receiving a Silver Ribbon nomination for best actor. In 2008, he received the Penisola Sorrentina Arturo Esposito Best Male Character Award.
