I am Bones is a Danish indie rock band from Aarhus. The group was initially the pseudonym of singer-songwriter Johannes Gammelby, under which he released The Short Attention Span EP in 2003 and If You Really Love Me, Send Me More Medical Supplies in 2004. After gaining attention through live performances, Gammelby signed with Morningside Records, leading to the release of Wrong Numbers Are Never Busy in 2005. The band's lineup stabilized in 2006 with Filip Granlie, Christian Winther, and Jeppe Lindgren. Following tours through Denmark and Germany, I am Bones released The Greater Good in 2007, which received positive reviews.
