Phuturistix is an English musical duo consisting of Zed Bias (Dave Jones) and DJ Injekta (Sefton Motley), working within the UK garage and broken beat genres. Their early releases included the Matrix EP (2000) and Deepdown EP (2001) on Locked On, which helped establish their presence in the UK electronic music scene. They released their debut album Feel It Out (2003) on Hospital Records, featuring tracks such as “Beautiful” and “Feel It Out.” The duo later continued releasing music through both Hospital Records and their own imprint Phuture Lounge Recordings, including singles such as “Cohiba” (2005) and “Fly Away” (2006), before releasing their second album Breathe Some Light (2007) on Phuture Lounge.
