Mob Research was an American-based rock band with a multi-national lineup. The group included Paul Raven on bass, Kory Clarke as vocalist, Mark Thwaite on guitar, and Nick Lucero on drums. In 2007, Raven and Thwaite began working together on the project in Los Angeles. The line-up was completed with the addition of Clarke and Lucero. Tragically, Raven died in October 2007 while the band was recording their debut album Holy City Zoo. The band continued work on the album, which was mixed by Tim Palmer and released in June 2009. The album featured the core music the band had already recorded prior to Raven's death. In 2012, Thwaite and Clarke collaborated again for the Motormouth EP, which marked their first new material in three years and featured new compositions and remixes.
