Harry Hopkinson, known professionally as Harry Torrani, was born on June 8, 1902, in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. He began his career singing in a local church choir before joining traveling entertainers and adopting the stage name Harry Torrani. He released his first yodeling song "Honeymoon Yodel" for the Regal Zonophone label in 1932. Throughout his career until 1942, he released 25 records and 51 tracks, including notable songs like "Yodel All Day" (1932) and "Mississippi Yodel!" (1932). Torrani retired from show business in the late 1940s and passed away on March 4, 1979. His work was posthumously compiled into albums such as Timeless Voice: Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and Vol. 3, all released in 2009.
