James Zabiela, born on August 7, 1979, in Southampton, England, is a DJ known for his electronic music productions. In his early years, Zabiela's signature style blended breakbeat and progressive house music. He gained initial recognition by winning Muzik Magazine’s Bedroom Bedlam competition in 2000. His breakthrough came with the release of his first EP, Utilities, in 2005, followed by subsequent EPs such as The Perseverance EP (2007) and Darkness (2009). Zabiela's notable singles include "Human" (007) and "Blame" (2011). He has collaborated with various artists, including Nic Fanciulli as One + One. In 2018, Zabiela released his debut album Balance 029. Throughout his career, Zabiela has been sponsored by Pioneer, a relationship that began in 2005.
