Sulpher, a British band blending industrial, rock, and metal genres, was formed in 1999 by Rob Holliday and Steve Monti. The duo met during an American tour with Curve in 1998 and released their first single "One of Us" in 2001, earning the title "Best British Industrial Act" from Classic Rock Magazine that year. Their debut album Spray was released on October 7, 2002, through Dependent Records. The band toured extensively, supporting acts like The 69 Eyes and Sisters of Mercy, and notably opening for Marilyn Manson in Dresden in 2003. "Fear Me" was used by NBC during the promotion for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Sulpher has released one album and two singles to date, with additional tracks on various compilations.
