Liv Marit Wedvik, born January 16, 1970, in Skien, Norway, was a country singer. She began her solo career as an adult, releasing several albums in quick succession: Then He Kissed Me (2003), Hitchin’ A Ride ( 2003), and Whatever You Say (2004). Her first four albums sold approximately 200,000 copies combined. After parting ways with her initial label Showtime Records, she signed with EMI and released Home Sweet Home ( 2005) and Riding Out The Storm (2006). Wedvik also appeared on the TV3 reality show Ville vesten in 2006 and was a cast member of Skal vi danse? in 2007. She died on May 23, 2015, near Risør.
