Fate, a Danish hard rock band, was formed in 1984 in Copenhagen by Hank Sherman. The group initially consisted of Hank Sherman on guitar, Pete Steiner on bass and keyboards, Bob Lance on drums, and Jeff "Lox" Limbo as the vocalist. After gaining experience with bands like Brats and Mercyful Fate, Sherman founded Fate following his departure from Mercyful Fate. Their debut album, Fate, was released in 1985, followed by A Matter of Attitude in 1986, which included the single "Won’t Stop". The band's third album, Cruisin' for a Bruisin', was released in 1988. After Sherman left, Fate continued with various lineup changes and released Scratch'n Sniff in 1990. The band disbanded in 1993 but reunited in 2006, releasing subsequent albums including V, Ghosts from the Past, and Reconnect 'n Ignite.
